Be the person in your profile

• Use your real details in your application. Identity and age are verified independently.
• No impersonation, borrowed life stories, or misrepresenting your age or situation.
• One account per person.

Profile photo standards

• You must be clearly visible in at least one photo.
• No photos of other people presented as you, and no stolen or stock images.
• No sexual, explicit or exploitative content.
• No images placing minors in inappropriate contexts.
• Photos are reviewed and may be rejected or removed.

Your identity document and verification selfie stay with the independent verification provider and are never used as dating photos.

Treat people well

• No harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation or abuse.
• Accept a no gracefully; do not keep contacting someone who has disengaged.
• Do not share another member's private information, photos or messages.
• No soliciting money, investments, gifts, or commercial promotion.

Messaging rules

• No offering, requesting or arranging paid sexual services or any commercial sexual activity.
• No trafficking, recruiting, controlling or advertising another person for sexual services.
• No sexual content involving minors, no grooming, and no contact with anyone under 18.
• No coercion, threats, sexual violence, drugging, hidden recording or non-consensual intimate imagery.
• No scams, investment or crypto pitches, gift-card requests, or asking members for money.
• Do not push people off Velvet Haven to communicate or pay. Sharing phone numbers, email addresses, external links or third-party app handles to move a conversation or a payment off the platform is not allowed — payment apps and crypto requests included.

Messages are screened automatically before delivery by a rules-based check on our servers. A message that matches is not delivered, is kept for staff review, and you are told it was held for safety review without being told what matched. Three staff-confirmed violations suspend messaging pending review; flags that are not yet reviewed, or that turn out to be false positives, never count against you.

Reporting and enforcement

You can report a profile, photo or message at any time. Staff review reports and may remove content, restrict access, or suspend or terminate accounts. Decisions are recorded, and you can submit an appeal from your account if you believe an action was mistaken. If there is an immediate threat of harm, contact local emergency services first.
